National Building Services, Inc. has developed the most comprehensive supervisory network in the industry. All of our managers have “come up through the ranks.” They understand the business of property maintenance, and they are committed to our philosophy of quality and professionalism.
Our supervisory network consists of the individual Supervisor, Quality Control Manager and Executive Management. The Supervisor remains on site with the crew while all work is being performed, and he is in touch with the Quality Control Manager on a daily basis to see if the client has made any special requests that need to be addressed. The Supervisor is responsible for seeing that both routine and special maintenance tasks are carried out promptly and thoroughly.
The Quality Control Manager communicates directly with the Property Manager or Facilities Manager on a regular basis. The Quality Control Manager is responsible for insuring your overall satisfaction, helping you evaluate your long term service needs, and addressing any high-level problems that might arise.
Our Executive Management is always accessible to you and plays a major role in our quality control. Customers like yourself have helped us shape our business philosophy and our service strategy. We are attuned to your needs and welcome your suggestions.
A Computerized Maintenance System - Control and Accountability
Successful maintenance requires the routine performance of a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks, each carried out at the appropriate interval. Yet, all too often, management has no way of verifying that these duties are being completed on a regular basis.
National Building Services, Inc. has met this challenge by developing a unique computer-based system that enables us to schedule and closely monitor all maintenance duties. With assistance from the Property Manager, we create a comprehensive, tailor-made maintenance program for your facility. This program is fed into our computer system, which generates daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual work schedules. The supervisor is responsible for seeing that every scheduled task is performed in the proper time frame by the assigned personnel. With this system, periodic work is completed on schedule, with no guesswork, and less frequently performed maintenance duties are carried out in a timely manner.
Effective Support for the Property Manager
At National Building Services, Inc., we believe it is our job to minimize the demands that maintenance places on the Property Manager. At the same time, we strive to provide you with complete, accurate and up-to-the-minute maintenance records: Completed work schedules, a daily log book for concerns and requests, daily Supervisor reports and Quality Control reports.
These records are valuable tools for planning and budgeting, monitoring the quality of service, and evaluating client satisfaction. They ensure that you have accountability in every aspect of maintenance. Our service strategy combines the best of people and technology. Our comprehensive supervisory system and computerized maintenance system allow us to give your property constant attention and personal care.
All NBS, INC. employees are fully insured and bonded. We do complete background checks and are a drug-free workplace. We have a 98 percent employee retention rate with some employees going on 20 years with our company (which is very rare, especially in this industry). We have never had a worker’s compensation, general liability or theft insurance claim in our 30 year history.
